The Walking Dead Campaign
Trailer Park developed a long lead interactive strategy for AMC's breakout series The Walking Dead. A robust website experience, targeted rich media campaign, consistent social media outreach and influential editorial placements combined to raise awareness and buzz to a near-frenzy in the week leading up to premiere. Coupling our efforts with the brilliance of this series resulted in an enormously powerful and successful campaign that resulted in the highest rated cable premiere to date in 2010.
Comic-Con Teaser Website
AMC made a big splash at Comic Con in 2010 and Trailer Park ensured they were equally represented online in that early phase of the campaign. The initial teaser website fueled fans' excitement for this groundbreaking series.

Trailer Park Interactive worked with AMC to provide a robust official site that would also be easy for their internal website team to manage and update on a weekly basis. The site is based almost entirely in HTML, CSS and Javascript so it is viewable across platforms.
Rich Media and Flash Banners
A compelling series of rich media and flash banners completed the online marketing push for the show and ran three weeks after premiere.
Spread the Dead
This viral contest/microsite incentivized fans to share their excitement about the show from the premiere through the first 5 weeks of Season One. Fans were charged with driving traffic and spreading awareness about the show via unique URLs and badges. Users driving the most traffic were entered to win thousands of dollars! Over 100,000 interactions in week one.
Social Media Outreach
Trailer Park worked with AMC to create the right tone and outreach strategy for their social media presence. Our outreach calendar consisted of daily posts, trivia, exclusive media releases and editorial outreach to over 300 sites including UGO, IGN, Entertainment Weekly, AOL TV, TV Guide, Yahoo, and more!
Editorial Outreach
Trailer Park was able to secure a multitude of featured placements of The Walking Dead assets and mentions on major websites and blogs. Our outreach offered exclusive videos, photos, games, Q&A and news updates. Some of the most successful and high profile placements were on Zap2It, EW, AOL TV, Super Hero Hype and UGO.
