Trailer Park hires Boyd, promotes Faulkner

Trailer Park Digital, Social and Mobile, a division of industry-leading entertainment marketing agency Trailer Park, is pleased to announce Scott Boyd has joined the company as VP, Account Services. Boyd's most recent experience includes the launch of Dather, a social media site and Facebook app notable for its social content timeline feature, and previous positions as Managing Director at AOL Music and General Manager of BuzzMedia. In his new post, Boyd will draw upon experience in entertainment, music and online content ranging from building and launching web sites to managing at a scale of 25+ million users.

Boyd will report to division President Julianne LaMarche and Michael Faulkner, newly promoted to Digital, Social and Mobile's SVP, Account Services and Business Development. Faulkner, who joined Trailer Park in 2009, has been integral to campaigns with clients such as AMC-including runaway hit "The Walking Dead" which was just renewed for a third season, CNN, Disney Parks and Resorts, DreamWorks, Fox Home Entertainment, HBO and TNT, among others. As SVP, Account Services and Business Development, Faulkner will focus on growing business with existing clients and shepherding new business into Trailer Park's umbrella of entertainment, branding and technology services.

ABOUT SCOTT BOYD

Scott Boyd is VP, Account Services for Trailer Park's Digital, Social and Mobile division. He draws upon 15 year's worth of experience in entertainment, music and online content ranging from building and launching web sites to managing at a scale of 25+ million users. Scott began his career in Artist Management for Rebel Waltz, handling management and the gamut of marketing for The Offspring, Chris Cornell, No Doubt, Gwen Stefani and Social Distortion/Mike Ness. He also worked as a Senior Account Executive at ElectricArtists, putting strategic marketing plans and initiatives in place for DVD, film, music, video games and TV projects. This included promotions, grassroots initiatives and PR for clients including Warner Bros., Miramax, Atlantic Records, Interscope, Universal Studios and Activision.

This breadth of experience landed Scott at AOL Music as Senior Manager and eventually, Managing Director. Over four years, he directed business operations, strategic development and programming for AOL's music properties; re-launched Spinner.com and upped its monthly audience from zero to over 1.5 million in six months; and worked closely with sales to secure and deliver multi-million dollar campaigns for top brand clients, to note only a few highlights. From AOL Scott went to BuzzMedia as General Manager. Scott's responsibilities included overseeing BuzzMedia's music properties in strategic development, content, operations, sales, PR, marketing, community and sponsorship opportunities, as well as managing relationships with record companies, artists and concert promoters.

Prior to joining Trailer Park as VP, Account Services, Scott co-founded Dather, a social media web site and Facebook application that allowed users and clients the ability to view their social media content on a timeline.

 

ABOUT MICHAEL FAULKNER

Michael Faulkner is Senior Vice President, Account Services and Business Development, for Trailer Park's Digital, Social and Mobile division. He brings 16 years experience across film, entertainment, social and brand marketing, ranging from artist management to developing film and TV properties to interactive marketing initiatives in both the entertainment and brand spaces.

Michael began his career at ICM's agent training program, then worked under agent Brian Mann in the TV and Film Talent divisions, servicing such clients as Carol Burnett, Joan Allen, Helen Mirren and Laura Linney. He moved to Fox 2000 in 1998 where he worked under Executive VP Carla Hacken on films including Unfaithful and Anywhere But Here. Two years later, Michael joined Klasky Csupo Animation Studio as VP of Creative Services/Development; he worked on Nickelodeon hits' "Rugrats", "The Wild Thornberrys" and "Rocket Power", as well as developing new TV and feature projects with company founders Arlene Klasky and Gabor Csupo.

In 2005 Michael started work as a Senior Producer and then Vice President of Interactive Accounts at Crew Creative, before joining Trailer Park in 2009 as VP, Account Services for the interactive division. Clients at Crew included WeTV, Universal Studios, Warner Bros., New Line Cinema and Miramax.  At Trailer Park, Michael has overseen interactive campaigns and social media initiatives for entertainment and brand clients, including AMC, HBO, CNN, HLN, DreamWorks, Disney Parks and Resorts, Sony Pictures, Summit Entertainment, IFC, TNT, 20th Century Fox, Newegg.com and ING Direct to name a few.
